Nihas Basheer

Nihas is part of the firm’s banking and finance practice and has been with the firm since 2007. He completed his B.A.LL.B. (Hons) degree from the National University for Advanced Legal Studies, Cochin in the year 2007. His area of practice focuses on securitisation and bi-lateral transactions, including on the stressed asset space, debt capital markets (both onshore and offshore), structured finance and project finance. He also advises clients in relation to product documentation and general corporate matters. He is a frequent contributor to articles and literature on the Indian securitisation space. His clients include banks, non-banking finance companies, housing finance companies and micro-finance companies.
